CONAC Promotes Integrity at the National School Games

As part of its activities to draw the attention of the education community on the need to Change Habits and Oppose Corruption, as well as assess the know-how of students and pupils on the fight against corruption, the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Cameroon (CONAC) organized two Integrity Quizzes on the sidelines of the National School Games Finals, dubbed FENASSCO A and B Games, that took place in Bafoussam and Ebolowa from the 18th to the 28th of March, 2016. Students and pupils were asked to use drawings and slogans or poems to illustrate the importance of fighting against corruption. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, certificates of participation and beautifully framed copies of the National Anthem were handed to laureates of the competitions.[...] Lire

Commonwealth Envoy on Study Visit at CONAC

Within the framework of a project financed by the Commonwealth Secretariat and the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime, Mr. LENTSWE MOTSHOGANETSI was at the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Cameroon (CONAC) from February 22nd to 26th, 2016, for a study visit. The Commonwealth project aims at identifying the procedures and strategies used in the fight against corruption by anti-corruption agencies of Commonwealth African countries. CONAC Reaches Out to Young Pupils at School Games

A team from the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Cameroon (CONAC) will be in Bafoussam from the 19th to the 22nd of March, 2016, and in Ebolowa from the 23rd to the 29th of April, 2016, to draw the attention of the education community on the need to change habits and oppose corruption, as well as reject and denounce all acts of corruption in the school milieu. The activities of CONAC during the FENASSCO A and B Games finals, dedicated to secondary and primary school students and pupils will be geared at progressively putting in place the National Education Programme on Integrity, a programme elaborated by CONAC in 2010 in partnership with all the stakeholders of the education sector. It seeks to build a young generation capable of saying NO TO CORRUPTION at all times; a generation which will have integrity as their watch word.[...] Lire
