The finals of the National Federation of School Sports, League B games for primary school pupils were held in Bafoussam, capital city of the West Region, from the 8th to 13th of June 2024
CONAC seized the opportunity of this large gathering of students, teachers, spectators and even traders, to sensitise all these actors to the importance of integrity and the fight against corruption. A team led by the Chairman of CONAC, Rev. Dr Dieudonné MASSI GAMS, was deployed in the city of Bafoussam at the official opening and closing ceremonies of the games, at the Tocket Omnisports Stadium; at the exhibition fair at the Games Village, located in the Bafoussam Urban Council; as well as at the competition sites, to convey the message of the fight against corruption to the 1,420 athletes, 400 technical staff and 140 officials.
Beyond raising awareness through leaflets, flyers and stickers, CONAC hosted an awareness-raising stand in the Games Village and organised a quiz on the fight against corruption, called the Integrity Quiz. 20 pupils, 2 from each region, took part in the quiz, in which they were asked to sketch a picture and write two slogans to raise awareness among their peers about the fight against corruption. At the end of the quiz, OUMATE ABBA-BOUKAR from the North Region, TANKEU Elvira from the West Region and TIGUI Daniel Roosevelt from the Adamawa Region won the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, awarded by CONAC at the 17th edition of the FENASSCO League B national finals.
