CONAC Engages Community Radio Stations to Fight Corruption
The National Anti-Corruption Commission of Cameroon, CONAC, has signed collaboration agreements with some22 community radio stations drawn from the ten Regions of the country, to produce and broadcast anti-corruption messages and programmes in national languages.
The agreements were signed on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the CONAC’s Head Office in Yaounde, in the presence of the Chairman of CONAC, Rev. Dr.Dieudonné MASSI GAMS and promoters of Community Radio Stations selected for the first phase of the project to broadcast anti-corruption program and report onactivities carried out by CONAC, using indigenous languages.
According to the Chairman of CONAC, the initiative is aimed at taking the fight against corruption closer to the people and hence reinforcing the anti-corruption drive in Cameroon.
