Cameroonians called upon to actively fight against corruption

The appeal was made by the Chairman of CONAC in a declaration to mark the 5th edition of the African Anti-Corruption Day that was celebrated on July 11, 2021. Broadcast of the declaration and documentaries on efforts made by Cameroon to combat the cankerworm were the main activities of CONAC on the day.

“Our efforts are focused on building an anti-corruption mentality”

Excerpts of the statement on the achievements in the fight against corruption in Cameroon and expectations by the Chairman of CONAC, Rev. Dr Dieudonné MASSI GAMS, to Members of Parliament.

This was during a one-day symposium organized on July 30, 2021, in Yaounde on best practices and mechanisms of transparency and accountability.

Major stakeholders of the Littoral Region came up with the 2017 Action Plan during a three-day workshop in Douala.

The National Anti-Corruption Commission of Cameroon, CONAC, from February 15 to 17, 2017 organised a workshop in Douala to evaluate the level of implementation of the Littoral Region Anti-Corruption Plan of Action for 2016 and adopt strategies for 2017.
