CAMEROON’S 2021 ANTI-CORRUPTION STATUS REPORT MADE PUBLIC

Cameroon lost over 44 billion FCFA to corruption in 2021. This information is revealed in the Cameroon’s 2021 Anti-Corruption Status Report that was rendered public on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Yaounde by the National Anti-corruption Commission, CONAC.  The amount doubles the financial prejudice suffered by the state in 2020, which went slightly above 17.5 billion FCFA. AFRICA ANTI-CORRUPTION DAY, CONAC EMPOWERS HEADS OF ANTI-CORRUPTION UNITS

The National Anti-Corruption Commission, CONAC, has acquainted   Stakeholders in the fight against corruption in the country, notably heads of anti-corruption units in both public and parapublic institutions, with the Commonwealth Anti-Corruption Benchmarks recommended as best practices in the fight against corruption. BOUMBA AND NGOKO DIVISION RALLIES AGAINST CORRUPTION

CONAC at Yokadouma

Administrative authorities and education stakeholders in the Boumba and Ngoko Division in the East Region of Cameroon have been exhorted to actively participate in the fight against corruption in the country and to denounce perpetrators of corruption to the National Anti-corruption Commission, CONAC, through the Institution’s toll-free number 1517.
