Cameroon lost over 44 billion FCFA to corruption in 2021. This information is revealed in the Cameroon’s 2021 Anti-Corruption Status Report that was rendered public on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Yaounde by the National Anti-corruption Commission, CONAC.  The amount doubles the financial prejudice suffered by the state in 2020, which went slightly above 17.5 billion FCFA. The members of the Congolese delegation and the management staff of CONAC shared knowledge on the anti-corruption instruments and tools implemented in Cameroon.

Two members of the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism (NCPBM) were at the National Anti-Corruption Commission (CONAC) on Thursday, March 17, 2022, to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the national policy on the promotion of official languages in the Institution.

The stand of the Institution was animated with discussions as CONAC staff attended to visitors, as many came to enquire about the functioning of the Institution and drop denunciations.

The Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Rev. Dr. Dieudonné MASSI GAMS, on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Bafoussam–Bamougoum Airport, launched a campaign dubbed “AFCON TotalEnergies Cameroon 2021 Without Corruption”.

Administrative authorities and education stakeholders in the Boumba and Ngoko Division in the East Region of Cameroon have been exhorted to actively participate in the fight against corruption in the country and to denounce perpetrators of corruption to the National Anti-corruption Commission, CONAC, through the Institution’s toll-free number 1517.

The National Anti-Commission Commission of Cameroon, CONAC, commemorated the 2021 International Anti Corruption Day, on Thursday December 9, through a training workshop for media men and women, at the Institution’s head office in Yaounde.
